Dayton Botts Named CFO for AdventHealth South Overland Park

— Overland Park, KS – AdventHealth has named Dayton Botts as Chief Financial Officer of AdventHealth South Overland Park. Botts was most recently Director of Finance for the Mid-America Region of AdventHealth, which includes AdventHealth South Overland Park, AdventHealth Shawnee Mission and AdventHealth Ottawa in Kansas and AdventHealth Durand in Wisconsin. Since 2015 he has held various leadership positions in finance for AdventHealth in Kansas.

Botts joined AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in 2015. As Director of Finance, he provided financial accountability and strategic insight for AdventHealth Medical Group in Kansas in addition to 16 physical therapy outpatient sites and three AdventHealth Centra Care locations. He worked closely with providers to ensure financial stability of outpatient locations and physician offices.

Botts has a bachelor’s degree in Organismal Biology from the University of Kansas, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law.

AdventHealth South Overland Park is located in the Bluhawk Development at 7820 West 165th Street in Overland Park. The campus opened in 2017 with the full-service hospital added in 2021. It includes an emergency department, 38 inpatient beds with surgical services, intensive care, heart care and maternity care in addition to outpatient services including imaging, laboratory and a medical office building with primary care, physical therapy and physician specialties.
