RMH received the Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and was among 15 other hospitals recognized in the state. To receive the distinction, Ransom had to meet the requirements of the Blue Distinction Center, delivering quality specialty care safely and effectively, but also meet requirements for cost efficiency.
