AdventHealth Palm Coast is currently accepting project management proposals for a Wind Retrofit Project as part of the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. Please reference project overview below. All inquiries should be sent to [email protected].

Scope:

Project Management Consultant (TBD) - performs the duties required to administer the grant. Duties include the following: solicitation, development, review, and processing of sub applications; delivery of technical assistance; quarterly progress and fiscal reporting; project monitoring; technical monitoring; compliance activities associated with federal procurement requirements; documentation of quality of work verification for quarterly reports and closeout; payment of claims; closeout review and liquidation; and records retention.

Project Overview:

As a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, the Sub-Recipient proposes to retrofit AdventHealth Palm Coast, located at 60 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164. Coordinates (29.479962, -81.189097). The HMGP project scope of work shall provide protection to all the exterior openings of the facility by installing impact resistant systems. This project shall protect the integrity of the building envelope and reduce potential damage from future wind events. Wind protections shall be provided on any other opening such as vents, louvers and exhaust fans. All installations shall be in strict compliance with the Florida Building Code or Miami Dade Specifications and all materials shall be certified to meet wind and impact standards. The local municipal or county building department shall inspect and certify installation according to the manufacture specification. The project shall provide protection against 150 MPH winds or the wind speed protection and impact requirements indicated by the effective Florida Building Code at the time permits are issued.
