AdventHealth Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula will resume all outpatient operations on Wednesday, September 4. AdventHealth Medical Group locations in Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula will also reopen.

In an abundance of caution for the safety of our patients, visitors and staff, we are closing AdventHealth Medical Group Sebring physician practices, as well as canceling lab services, and imaging services on Tuesday, September 3. Our Child Learning Center will be open and provide child care as planned.

AdventHealth Sebring leaders are closely monitoring Hurricane Dorian and have extensive safety plans in place. We have physicians, staff and leadership here to care for you 24/7, we have stockpiled water, and generators are on standby if necessary.
Family members of patients can rest assured the hospital will be a safe place for their loved ones during the storm. We will be fully staffed and continue to deliver our excellent standard of care.
PLEASE NOTE: Because our number one priority is to provide for the medical needs and safety of our patients, unfortunately, our hospital can’t operate as a shelter before, during or after the hurricane.

AdventHealth Sebring leaders are monitoring the latest on Hurricane Dorian. We are meeting daily in order to ensure the safety of patients, visitors and staff during this time. Hurricane protocols include team staffing procedures, adequate water supply and backup generator power checks.
