As the Chief Nursing Officer at AdventHealth South Overland Park, Monica Natzke, RN, BSN, CNOR, MBA, oversees all clinical operations, including education, clinical quality, patient experience and safety.
Monica started her career with AdventHealth in 2005. She spent 11 years leading the surgical services teams and five years as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. In 2020, she had a vital role in assisting with the design and construction of AdventHealth South Overland Park hospital.
Monica is a graduate of the AdventHealth Executive Leadership Program and Kansas City Centurions. In 2020, she received the Heroes in Healthcare award, and in 2023, she was part of the Kansas Hospital Association’s inaugural class of Advocacy All-Stars.
Monica earned a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Iowa Wesleyan University. Monica has two kids, and when her family’s not at the ballfields, they enjoy golfing and fishing.
