Because we’re committed to spiritual as well as physical health, we also offer pastoral-care services. To meet with a chaplain, simply ask a staff member or call our Chaplain’s office at Call813-715-6618.

- What Patients Should Bring
-
To cut down on your worries and make things as simple as possible, we’ve compiled a list of items to bring with you to the hospital. Of course, in an emergency situation, you may not have time to gather everything. But when possible, you should bring with you:
- A list of any allergies you have
- A list of your prescriptions
- Advance directives (like a Living Will or Health-Care Surrogate information)
- The phone number of a friend or relative (emergency contact)
- Your insurance card and photo ID
Here are some things you don’t need to bring with you to the hospital:
- Food
- Medications and vitamins
- Toiletries (you’re welcome to bring personal items and toiletries if it will make your stay more comfortable, but we provide these items for free with your hospital visit)
- Valuables (it’s safer to leave these at home with your loved ones)
- Pastoral Care
-
A hospital stay can be an unexpected, anxious and a lonely time, not only for loved ones, but family and friends as well. AdventHealth Zephyrhills knows that your spiritual care is also an important part of the healing process. That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.
Contact a Chaplain
Patients, their family members or friends can request a visit from a chaplain, and we are also available to assist clergy or other pastors coming to visit their congregants.

Easy Access to the Tools You Need Healing Made Simple
When you're stressed about details like hospital costs and insurance coverage, it can be hard to get the rest you need for healing. Learn how we can make these and other necessary tasks easier through our online tools, including online bill pay and online scheduling.
A hospital stay can bring many visits and services from multiple medical providers. We know it’s hard to plan ahead for an emergency hospital visit, but if you have a scheduled health care service that requires a hospital stay, we recommend contacting your anticipated health care practitioners within the hospital to confirm they participate with your insurance provider. Services may be provided in the hospital by AdventHealth as well as by other health care practitioners who may bill you separately. By contacting your anticipated health care practitioners ahead of time, you can get information about billing practices and an estimate for your upcoming services to help avoid any unexpected challenges and fees.
