Florida Hospital New Smyrna Announces New Director of Patient Experience

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., January 16, 2017 Florida Hospital New Smyrna has selected registered nurse Megan Bowes to serve as director of patient experience. In this role, she is responsible for developing and directing patient-centered initiatives to drive excellence in the patient and family experience throughout the 112-bed New Smyrna Beach facility. Bowes has six years of experience and most recently served as patient experience manager at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City. An Edgewater resident, Bowes earned a bachelors degree in nursing and a masters degree in nursing leadership and management from Utah-based Western Governors University.
