About Our Program
Welcome to the Post Graduate Year 2 Internal Medicine Residency Program at AdventHealth Orlando (AHO). The internal medicine program will join the PGY-2 specialty residents and PGY-1 residents at AHO. The PGY-2 IM program builds upon the PGY-1 foundation to develop the resident into a clinical pharmacist with specialized expertise in internal medicine patient care. The 12-month program will focus on core patient care with the internal medicine medical residency training program, teaching and precepting, leadership, and research. Residents will have additional opportunities in specialized experiences based on goals and development. Graduates will be equipped for a variety of career opportunities within the internal medicine care continuum.
Thank you for your interest in our program.
