Our highly skilled surgeons are leaders and teachers in their fields. They provide a wide range of surgical treatments, including the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques (vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic), which reduce discomfort and shorten recovery time. Whether it’s from childbirth, age, straining, an injury or surgery, pelvic floor problems can feel physically painful and emotionally isolating. But conditions like urinary and fecal incontinence are more common than you might think, and they’re very treatable.

Meet Viviana Casas-Puig, MD
Viviana Casas-Puig, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN who specializes in Urogynecology. After graduating from the University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Casas-Puig received her medical degree from the Ponce Health Sciences University. She went on to complete an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident. She then completed a Research Fellowship at the Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health Institute at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by a 3-year Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She received extensive training in minimally invasive surgery and performs vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted procedures. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Urogynecologic Society. Dr. Casas-Puig is passionate about improving the quality of life of her patients, as well as providing compassionate and individualized high-quality evidence-based medical and surgical care. She is fluent in English and is a native Spanish speaker.
