Specializing in Colon-Rectal Surgery and Gastroenterology (GI) Procedures
If you’re struggling with a colon or rectal concern or gastrointestinal issues, know that relief is within reach. Our team of experienced medical professionals is here to ensure your health and well-being, offering a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and minimally invasive colon-rectal surgeries.
Our ambulatory surgery center is dedicated exclusively to outpatient GI procedures and colon and rectal surgeries. Our Center is staffed with experienced physicians and surgeons who are board-certified in their specialty.
The Center performs EGD procedures which is also known as an upper endoscopy. The test involves an endoscope, a lighted camera on the end of a tube, which is passed down your throat to visualize your esophagus, stomach and duodenum. This helps in diagnosing and treating conditions such as ulcers, inflammation, tumors, and bleeding.
The Center also performs routine colonoscopies to help catch colorectal conditions early. During a colonoscopy, the physician examines the inside of the colon and rectum with a colonoscope, which is a long, flexible tube about the width of a finger with a light and small video camera on the end. Through this screening, they can check for polyps or cancer in the colon and rectum.
Our Center was designed with patient satisfaction as our main goal. We prioritize your comfort and safety, using the latest technology and sedation techniques to minimize discomfort. Detailed instructions will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for your procedure. After the procedure, you will be monitored until the effects of sedation wear off. Most patients can resume normal activities shortly after.
