Your first step includes taking a Wholeness Assessment that helps you (and your Coach) identify strong areas in your life and areas of opportunity. By improving specific areas — the pillars of Wholeness — we can measurably boost the love, healing, growth and satisfaction you experience in your daily life. Learn more about the pillars below.

Coaching is an integral part of your Wholeness journey. Up to 92% of studies across weight loss, diabetes, heart health and wellness showed health coaching had a positive impact on health outcomes (2019 Compendium for Health and Wellness Coaching). Coaching is a one-on-one, growth-promoting, confidential conversation that uses the most effective approaches to helping people make and maintain lifestyle behavior changes in their lives. Your Coach assists you in deciding your goals using self-discovery and active learning processes as you track progress and make positive changes to your health and well-being.

  • Question: Is it possible to use my HSA/FSA for WholeYou?

    Answer:

Health and wellness coaching can be eligible for reimbursement through health savings accounts (HSA) or flexible spending accounts (FSA). If you’re interested in receiving benefits under your HSA/FSA for WholeYou, you should consult with your prescribing provider to discuss if your medical treatment and care plan warrants the support of a health and wellness coach. If your provider decides that you have a condition that warrants the support of a health and wellness coach, or that you may be at risk for development of a condition that would benefit from health and wellness coaching, they may recommend WholeYou. Your provider may provide a Letter of Medical Necessity detailing the reason for health and wellness coaching for you for record-keeping and submission for reimbursement to your HSA/FSA.

A sample letter can be downloaded here for your provider to complete. To receive reimbursement for WholeYou through your HSA/FSA, you must follow the instructions outlined in your plan and contact your plan administrator. AdventHealth makes no claims or guarantees that your plan will reimburse your expenses for WholeYou even with a Letter of Medical Necessity. This information should not be construed as tax advice. You should contact your tax advisor for information specific to your situation.
