From X-rays after a tumble to a cut that requires stitches, there are many reasons why you or a loved one may need to visit one of our Centra Care urgent care centers. With our expert providers and weekend and late-night hours (at some locations), we’re a trusted and convenient local health resource for your whole family.

When health care can’t wait, you can count on our Centra Care urgent care centers for safe, hands-on care in person. And rest assured that nothing is more important to us than you. That’s why we’ve put in place many new safety measures so you can feel at ease in our care.

New Centra Care Protocols to Protect You and Keep You Safe

With social distancing and staying at home (except in medical emergencies), we appreciate all that you’ve done to keep your family and your community safe and healthy right now. We’re doing our part, too. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we’ve added these extra precautions to keep our urgent care clinics safe.

We’re Helping You Keep Your Social Distance

The CDC advises that limited face-to-face contact is essential slowing the spread of viruses. To limit your contact with other people at our centers, we’ve redesigned our waiting areas so that everyone now sit at least 6 feet apart.

You’ll also notice floor markers and seat covers indicating where to stand and sit so that everyone’s a safe distance apart. Another office change that you will see at our Centra Care's is clear protective barriers at our registration desks to safely separate patients and staff.

At some locations, you may even be able to use our contactless registration to check in from your car and wait there until the staff alerts you that they’re ready to see you.

We’re Checking Everyone’s Temperature

All patients and visitors are now having their temperature checked at our clinic entrances. That’s because the CDC has noted that fever is a symptom of COVID-19. Anyone who has a fever will be cared for in a separate area.

All of our health care providers and staff also receive temperature checks to ensure everyone’s safety.

We’ve Created Two Separate Care Areas

To keep all patients safe and cared for appropriately, we have created a separate treatment area for patients with coronavirus symptoms. They’re cared for safely in another part of the center.

We Require Everyone to Wear Masks

Wearing cloth face coverings in public is an important way to stay safe. That’s why all of our patients and visitors are now required to wear masks. If you don’t have a mask when you arrive, you will be given one when you come in.

All of our care providers and team members will wear masks as well as other personal protective equipment.
