Our Transition to Acute Care Nurse Training program (TTAC) is designed to support non-acute care RNs transition to practice in the acute care environment. If you’re considering a career change, we have opportunities available for you to begin your journey!


Acceptance into the TTAC Program requires a minimum of 6 months of nursing experience in the non-acute care setting or returning to acute care after extended period.

  • Program learning examples includes:
    • Body Systems
    • Basic Pharmacology
    • Sepsis
    • Glycemic Management
    • Infection Prevention
    • Rapid Response Process
    • Electronic Medical Record Training
  • Three Simulation experiences:
    • Skills (Infection Control, ADL’s, Venipuncture, etc.)
    • 3 Day Clinical and Patient Experience Simulation Training
    • Clinical Immersions (Changes in Patient Conditions)
