Yoselin’s new smile was made possible because of the generosity of people like you. She received cleft lip and cleft palate surgery in Merida, Mexico when she was just nine months old.

Today, she is four years old and she can play without being shunned by her peers. Her gentle smile beams on her face and she loves to dance.

A Dramatic Impact

Yoselin’s life changing surgery cost less than $600 and was finished in 45 minutes. The impact is dramatic, immediate and lifelong.

You can help provide this low-cost, high impact intervention– a true modern day miracle that changes a child’s life forever.

The Goal of Sharing Smiles

The goal of Sharing Smiles is to deliver hope and healing to underserved children through quality health care, education and training, forming partnerships with our host country and building a sustainable legacy. Sharing Smiles provides care to children 52 weeks every year through three separate, but related, service lines: cleft lip and palate care, pediatric dentistry and pediatric physical therapy.

Do You Know?

Since 1996, Sharing Smiles has transformed the lives of more than 24,000 children in Latin America, the Caribbean and Peru.

The budget for each trip is $20,000. Every penny is spent on transporting the team of a dozen medical and clinical volunteers to the country, providing training to local medical professionals, modest lodging and sending needed medical equipment and supplies.

Sharing Smiles donates any remaining supplies to the local hospital, which is used to continue treating children throughout the year.

Your gift impacts a child’s life forever.
