AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida is proud to recognize Dena Jalbert as our Volunteer of the Month for December. Dena’s exceptional dedication and service on the AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute (HLVI) board, where she currently serves as chair, have made a lasting impact.
As a grateful patient of AdventHealth, Dena firmly believes in ensuring access to the best possible care for our community. Her service on the HLVI board reflects her commitment to advancing initiatives that provide cutting-edge technology, compassionate care, and exceptional service.
Dena’s leadership extends beyond AdventHealth. She is an executive board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, a Winter Park Library board member, and her firm, Align Business Advisory Services, supports Junior Achievement of Central Florida.
Her history with AdventHealth includes serving on the Cardiovascular Institute Foundation Board from 2013–2017. After stepping away to launch a successful business, she returned to the HLVI board in 2022 and became Board Chair in January 2024. Over the years, Dena has championed patient assistance for underserved cardiac patients and supported innovative healthcare technology for over a decade.
Originally from the outskirts of Chicago, Dena graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University and earned her CPA. She later moved to Florida to work and pursue her MBA at Florida State University. She now resides in Winter Park with her husband and two daughters, Olivia and Whitney.
Professionally, Dena is the founder and CEO of Align Business Advisory Services, based in Winter Park, Florida. Her accolades include recognition as a rising star of M&A by The M&A Advisor magazine and being named one of the 2021 Top 25 Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers and Acquisitions.
