Dena Jalbert is a very grateful patient of AdventHealth. She served on the Cardiovascular Institute Foundation Board from 2013-2017. After a break to start a new successful business, she rejoined the board in 2022 and as of January 2024 is the new Board Chair for the Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute (HLVI). Dena has supported patient assistance for underserved cardiac patients and innovative technology for over ten years.
Dena is the founder and CEO of Align Business Advisory Services, based in Winter Park, Florida. She has earned distinction as a rising star of M&A by The M&A Advisor magazine and one of the 2021 Top 25 Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers and Acquisitions.
Dena is a native of the outskirts of Chicago. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University and obtained her CPA, subsequently moving to Florida to work and pursue her master’s in business administration from Florida State University. She and her husband live in Winter Park, and they have two young daughters, Olivia and Whitney.
