Spiritual Care
As a faith-based organization, we understand the importance a quiet chapel can play in your healing process. Within our network of care, we have a beautiful chapel, which is open to people of all faiths. The chapel is always open to you whenever you need a peaceful place to pray, meditate, or rest in a healing environment. All are welcome to join any of our hospital’s religious services, including:
- Morning Prayer Service: Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 8:45 am
- Bible Study: Every Friday at Noon in the Women’s Center Conference Room
- Week of Spiritual Renewal: Held Every Spring
Available any time, any day, our pastoral-care team is here to serve you by listening to your concerns, providing spiritual counsel, and praying with or for you. All walks of faith or non-faith are welcome to seek comfort from our pastoral care staff. If you wish, we’re also happy to connect you with a leader from your own religious community. Discharge Planner
As you prepare to leave our hospital, a discharge planner will meet with you and/or your loved one to help you develop a care plan moving forward. Your discharge planner can answer any questions and give you advice about nutrition and exercise along with a list of activities and medications to avoid. Your discharge planner can also arrange for services like screenings and follow-up care, so you can continue monitoring your condition and getting the support you need.
Grief Recovery
You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Every three months, we hold a grief-recovery seminar. It’s a safe space to learn about coping with personal grief and connect with others who are also going through the grieving process. Open to everyone, the seminar runs one day a week for five weeks. For more information, call Call254-519-8344.

Streamlining Your Hospital Stay
To make your visit as simple as possible, we’ve put together some quick links to help you find information on paying bills, scheduling appointments, and more.
A hospital stay can bring many visits and services from multiple medical providers. We know it’s hard to plan ahead for an emergency hospital visit, but if you have a scheduled health care service that requires a hospital stay, we recommend contacting your anticipated health care practitioners within the hospital to confirm they participate with your insurance provider. You can also get information about billing practices and an estimate for your upcoming services ahead of time. This will help you avoid any unexpected challenges and fees.
