Your visits help your loved ones heal, and we want you to feel welcome here. For that reason, we hold extensive visiting hours during the following times:
Visiting hours are 9 am to 8 pm.

While you’re here, we’re committed to supporting you in any way we can, whether that means providing a peaceful chapel, a pastoral-care team, or free WiFi. We’ve tried to anticipate and meet all of your needs with our hospital amenities.
Food and Refreshments
Hungry? If you're visiting our AdventHealth Central Texas facility, you'll find our Café Metro on the first floor near the hospital’s main entrance. Pick up a hot meal, build your own salad or sandwich, or grab some fruit, cereal, or a pastry. With a wide selection of international cuisines and vegetarian dishes, the Café Metro offers something for everyone. You’re welcome to eat in the café or take your meal back to your loved one’s room and eat it there.
During weekdays, the Café Metro is open continuously from 7 am to 3 pm and again from 5 pm to 6 pm, with hot meals available during the following times:
- Breakfast: 7 am to 9 am
- Lunch: 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
- Dinner: 5 pm to 6 pm
Salad and sandwich bars are open from 11:30 am to 3 pm and from 5 pm to 6 pm
During weekends and holidays, the Café Metro is open continuously from 8 am to 1 pm, with hot meals available during the following times:
- Breakfast: 8 am to 9 am
- Lunch: 12 pm to 1 pm
Salad and sandwich bars are open from 11:30 am to 1 pm
When you just need a quick snack, you can visit one of our vending machines for a variety of snacks and beverages.
Free WiFi
While you’re here visiting your loved one, there’s no need to feel cut off from the rest of the world. Wherever you are in the hospital, you can access our free WiFi by following these instructions:
For iPhone users:
- Go to the wireless networks on your Apple device and select AHGuest.
- It will show a check mark and the device will have an IP address.
- Open Safari.
- Accept the terms of use for Guest Services.
- You are now online.
For Android users:
- Open a new web browser page and go to Google.

Hospital Gift Shop
Need to pick up a gift for your loved one? At the Eclectic Gift Shop, located in our AdventHealth Central Texas facility, you’ll find a wide selection of thoughtful gifts: from flowers to baby toys. We’ll even deliver a gift to your loved one’s room. To place an order from outside the hospital, call Call254-519-8173.
The hospital gift shop is open:
- Monday through Friday: 11 am to 2 pm
Pastoral Care and Chapel
When you or your loved one are facing challenges, a few words of spiritual comfort can ease your anxieties and lift the heaviness in your heart. Available any time, any day, our pastoral-care team is here to serve you by lending a listening ear, providing spiritual counsel, and praying with or for you. To speak with a chaplain, call Call254-519-8844 or Call254-526-7523 and ask the operator to page the chaplain on call.
We’re also happy to connect you and your spiritual leader. Just have your leader contact Sergio Silva, director of pastoral care, to make arrangements for their visit by calling Call254-519-8844 or Call937-823-0121.
We have a beautiful chapel, which is open to people of all faiths. The chapel is always open to you whenever you need a peaceful place to pray, meditate, or rest in a healing environment. All are welcome to join any of our hospital’s religious services, including:
- Chapel Service: Wednesdays from 9:15 to 9:35 am
- Week of Spiritual Renewal: Held Every Spring

Free Hospital Parking
You don't have to worry about parking. At each of our facilities, you’ll find free parking (all day, every day) in front of the hospital’s main entrance. If you need help finding your car, call the operator by dialing 0.

Coming from out of town? Accommodations for visitors and relatives are available at nearby motels, which offer various facilities and rates.

A hospital stay can be an unexpected, anxious and a lonely time, not only for loved ones, but family and friends as well. AdventHealth Central Texas knows that your spiritual care is also an important part of the healing process. That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.
Contact a Chaplain
Patients, their family members or friends can request a visit from a chaplain, and we are also available to assist clergy or other pastors coming to visit their congregants.
