AdventHealth DeLand Names New Birth Care Center Director

DELAND, Fla., January 7, 2019 –AdventHealth DeLand has named Tracy Lewis as the director of the Birth Care Center.

In her new role, Lewis will oversee labor and delivery, postpartum and the nursery, as well as assist in the transition of these services to AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City when the new four-story patient tower construction is completed in 2020.

Lewis brings to this position more than 26 years of nursing experience and 18 years in leadership positions in both women’s and children’s services. She comes to AdventHealth DeLand from Central Florida Regional Hospital, where she previously served as the director of women’s services.

Lewis earned a Master of Science in nursing from Grand Canyon University. In addition, she received a specialized certification in inpatient obstetrics from National Certification Corporation.
