Imaging Nurse Navigator Named

DELAND, Fla., October 3, 2016 Florida Hospital DeLand has selected Denise Mariconda to serve as imaging nurse navigator of radiation oncology.

In this new position, Mariconda serves as a resource to patients and will be responsible for teaching breast self-examinations, answering questions regarding breast health, as well as providing education before and after procedures.

She is a registered nurse and with more than 35 years of experience, 20 of which has been in the oncology field.

Mariconda has earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Additionally, she is an Educare certified breast health navigator and a certified MammaCare specialist.
