couple walks through the woods with healthy lungs

AdventHealth Gordon is hosting a free low dose lung cancer screening on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 8 am to 5 pm at the AdventHealth Harris Radiation Therapy Center.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women and the best chance of a cure is early detection. This free lung cancer screening is available for smokers ages 50 to 75 who have a 20-pack year history or greater to catch lung cancer at its earliest stage so treatment can be effective. Urine tests will be offered as smokers are also at risk for bladder cancer.

Limited space is available, and registration is required. To register for this free event, please call Call706-879-5850.
