Mike Davis has been named chair of the Gordon Hospital Foundation board.

Serving on the board since 2015, Davis has lived in North Georgia for 60 years. He is a retired educator and former superintendent of Calhoun City Schools, and in recent years, he has turned his hobby of woodworking into Docs Woodturning. His love for the community is his driving force in participating on Gordon Hospitals Foundation board.

Mike has a passion for the community, and he understands the significance of Gordon Hospitals role within the community, said Garrett Nudd, president of the Gordon Hospital Foundation. We are thrilled that Mike has stepped into this role, and we look forward to increasing the foundations scope and impact through his leadership.

I am honored to be chosen to chair the Gordon Hospital Foundation board, said Davis. It is an opportunity for me to give back to a community that has given me so much.
