Join us for this informative session related to the discussion process about end-of-life planning presented by Bethanie Templeton, MSW. Bethanie will discuss the dynamics of communication related to the topic of end-of-life transitions and explores potential underlying notions and emotional-based perceptions on the topic. She will introduce evidenced-based findings and encourage care professionals, individuals and persons with family members declining in health status and former caregivers to share their experiences with other attendees.

AdventHealth in partnership with the Council on Aging for Henderson County is excited to offer the Death and Dying End-of-Life Spotlight Series that serves to engage adults, caregivers and care support individuals on topics related to preparing for end-of-life transitions. The Death and Dying End-of-Life Spotlight featured topic is introduced and followed by an open discussion with connections to information and resources.

Bethanie Templeton, MSW serves as the Advent Age-Friendly Liaison representing The Council on Aging for Henderson County. Bethanie has consulted with care professionals, individuals and persons with family members challenged by health status decline and has identified common themes faced by adults and older adults and provides insight, information, resources, and support-related connection opportunities within a safe sharing space.
