A new partnership blossoms: AdventHealth becomes official health care partner at Bok Tower Gardens

November 20, 2020 — LAKE WALES, Fla., Nov. 20, 2020 — Bok Tower Gardens and AdventHealth are pleased to announce a partnership that builds upon the organizations’ shared dedication to whole-person and whole-community health.

AdventHealth, founded in Orlando more than 110 years ago with a guiding philosophy of providing wholistic care, will be the first official health care partner at Bok Tower Gardens in its over 90 years of operation. This partnership embraces the healing power of nature while offering a platform for sharing important health initiatives, education and programs designed to inspire the community.

We look forward to partnering with Bok Tower Gardens, and together, continuing to inspire our community to wholeness," said Brian Adams, CEO for AdventHealth Polk County. 2021 Spring Bloom presented by AdventHealth An annual rite of passage, Spring Bloom presented by AdventHealth is the most colorful time of the year as thousands of azaleas, camellias, and annuals signal a new season. The festival celebrates the majesty of Mother Nature from Feb. 1 through April 30.

Long appreciated as the most glorious time at Bok Tower Gardens, visitors will experience four months of blooms beginning in January with a riot of camellias blooms and then the grand finale of azaleas.

Visitors can observe more than 150 varieties of camellias and hundreds of azaleas in bloom during the festival. Visitors are encouraged to return throughout the season to experience Mother Nature's ever-changing palette of color.
