AdventHealth Murray will host a community celebration on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Chatsworth City Park. This event, called “Praises in the Park” will be gathering to celebrate the resilience of the Chatsworth community with music and food.
This event will feature an afternoon of fellowship, gospel music, local vendors, artisans, and food. AdventHealth Murray will offer free health screenings such as blood pressure, BMI, and vision screenings. All participants are invited to bring non-perishable food donations to drop off to benefit local food pantries.
“Over the last two years, our community has been impacted deeply by COVID-19. As we move into a new season, we want to praise God for bringing us through in an afternoon of praise and connection with one another,” said event organizer and AdventHealth Murray chaplain Alexa Hernandez.
