The Birth Experience Team

Scheduling your birth tour and planning for your delivery day has never been easier. Our Birth Experience Team will help you create the ultimate environment for baby’s arrival and give you the confidence and knowledge to embark on this new phase of life.

The Birth Experience Coordinators are registered nurses that can answer any labor and delivery or parent education questions to help put new parents at ease. Contact your Birth Experience Team to get started on your journey for you and your growing family, including:

Pre-Register for Your Delivery

Get a jump start on your delivery and pre-register for your stay. Pre-registering will make your hospital labor and delivery go smoother, and you'll be escorted immediately to your birthing room where you can complete the registration process from the comfort of your bed.

Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit combine state-of-the art technology, soothing baby-friendly environments and a comprehensive range of specialty services to provide the highest level of care to our tiniest patients.

Leaders in Maternal Care

AdventHealth for Women is the first in the state to receive the highest level of care, level IV, in the Maternal Levels of Care verification program. In addition, Altamonte, Winter Park, and Celebration received level II and contributed to the Women's hospital verification. Level IV means there are Regional Perinatal Health Care Centers, plus on-site medical and surgical care for the most complex maternal conditions.

National Infant Safe Sleep Certified Hospital

AdventHealth for Women – Orlando is recognized by the National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification Program as a gold level hospital for their commitment to best practices and education on infant safe sleep. Cribs for Kids’ National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification program recognizes hospitals and hospital systems for their commitment to infant safe sleep to reduce the risk of Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID), Accidental Suffocation and Strangulation in Bed (ASSB), SIDS, and unsafe sleep injuries. As a Nationally Certified Safe Sleep Hospital, we are recognized for following the safe sleep guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and providing training programs for health care team members and family caregivers.
