Dr. Steven Goldstein Joins AdventHealth As Medical Director of Blood and Marrow Transplant Center

AdventHealth is pleased to welcome Dr. Steven Goldstein as medical director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Center.

Goldstein, who most recently served as an associate professor at the University of Michigan Hospital and Health Systems, brings more than 30 years of medical experience to his new role.

Joining the team at AdventHealth’s Blood and Marrow Transplant Center presents great opportunities, Goldstein said. Im excited to be a part of this strong clinical team.

Goldstein is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty certification in oncology. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.

His specialties include: stem cell transplantation, hematological malignancies, lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, myelofibrosis, myeloproliferative neoplasms, bone marrow failure syndromes, and graft-versus-host disease (GvHD).

Dr. Goldstein has also published more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, 7 book chapters and more than 90 abstracts.

Dr. Goldstein has an extremely impressive medical and academic background, said Dr. Mark Socinski, executive medical director of the AdventHealth Cancer Institute. AdventHealth is happy to welcome him, and we look forward to him leading our Blood and Marrow Transplant Center to new levels of national prominence.
