Annual Wellness Visits

Did you know that an annual wellness visit is not the same as a physical exam? A physical includes a full examination, lab work and tests that may require physical contact and is usually just one part of an annual wellness visit, which also includes a discussion and series of assessments to document health information. Medicare Parts A and B as well as most insurance plans cover one full annual wellness visit each year. Don’t forget to schedule your annual wellness visit with your primary care provider.
