AdventHealth emergency departments, with locations in Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula, are excited to announce their new partnership with U.S. Acute Care Solutions. Featuring a staff of board-certified acute care physicians, U.S.A.C.S. and the highly-trained clinical staff at AdventHealth are combining strengths to improve emergency care in the Heartland.
Founded by emergency medicine physician groups in Colorado, Florida, Maryland and Ohio, U.S. Acute Care Solutions is the nations largest physician-owned emergency, hospitalist, and observation medicine group. U.S.A.C.S. provides high-quality, compassionate care to almost four million patients annually at more than 120 locations in 22 states at leading hospital systems throughout the country. We employ approximately 1,500 board-certified physicians and 600 advanced practice providers to treat patients around the country, said U.S.A.C.S. Director of Corporate Communications Marty Richmond.
This effort will not only assist in managing the sickest patients, but also the efficient, caring throughput of all our patients. We are constantly striving to enhance and streamline all the activities in our very busy emergency departments, stated Department of Emergency Medicine Medical Director Dr. Gregory R. White.
We expect our U.S.A.C.S. partnership to increase the quality of health care for our acutely ill patients and improve the experience of each person that comes through our emergency room doors, said Florida Hospital Heartland President and CEO Bruce Bergherm.
