Dustin Woods, Lead Pastor for Grace Bible Church is this year's Gala chair.
Investing in the lives of others is the highest call of the human experience, Woods said. The AdventHealth West Florida Foundation Gala is an invitation to all of us to be an extension of the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Out communal effort to join in this mission reaches beyond the raising of funds into the fostering of hope. Hope that allows each patient to see beyond their infirmity and lay hold of a better tomorrow.
This year's capital campaigns benefitting from the Gala will include the Fitness Center Campaign in Lake Placid, First impressions Campaign in Sebring, and the Advancing the Legacy Campaign in Wauchula. We give thanks to our Foundation Friends for supporting the AdventHealth Sebring, Lake Placid and Wauchula Foundations, said Bruce Bergherm, AdventHealth CEO/President. It is gratifying to know that the proceeds raised through the Foundations directly enhance medical services right here in our community, Bergherm said. Over the last several years your generous philanthropy has made a significant impact on services at all three campuses of AdventHealth.
