Austin Purkeypile

Austin Purkeypile is the Vice President of Physician Network, Business Development and Strategy for AdventHealth Mid-America Region, overseeing the operations and strategic growth of the 160-provider AdventHealth Medical Group for Shawnee Mission, Ottawa, South Overland Park and Durand. In addition, he manages three AdventHealth Centra Care locations, 16 PT Solutions locations and one AdventHealth Imaging Center. He also provides leadership expertise for AdventHealth’s population health strategies.

Austin began his career with AdventHealth in 2005 and has enjoyed working strategically with physicians in various roles, including Chief Operating Officer at AdventHealth East Orlando. He has also served as Vice President of Strategy at Dignity Health, Heart Institute Executive Director at Loma Linda University and Finance Manager at Stanford Children’s Hospital.

Austin earned a degree in business finance from Union College and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. Austin and his wife, Pam, a CRNA at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, have three children: Sebastian, Zoe and Oliver. Austin grew up on a cattle ranch in Eureka, Kansas, and is a lifelong Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks fan.
