AdventHealth South Overland Park Names Jimmy Bolanos as Chief Operating Officer

KANSAS CITY, Kan., AdventHealth South Overland Park has named Jimmy Bolanos as its chief operating officer. Previously, Jimmy held the role of regional executive director of strategy and operations for AdventHealth Mid-America Region where he developed and implemented annual and long-term business development, operational and strategic planning processes to grow AdventHealth’s regional market, including the development of AdventHealth Lenexa City Center.

Bolanos joined the AdventHealth Mid-America Region in July 2016 as director of finance and is a graduate of AdventHealth’s Executive Leadership Program. Prior to joining AdventHealth, Bolanos held leadership roles within health care including as finance manager, business intelligence regional director and decision support manager.

In his new role, Bolanos will lead the strategic growth and development of AdventHealth South Overland Park, a hospital which recently earned national recognition by the Leapfrog Group as a Top General Hospital.

Bolanos holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and has lent his fluent Spanish speaking skills as a team lead for mission trips to Peru – providing both plastic and general surgery care to the community.
