Raimonda Shelton

Raimonda Shelton, RN, BSN, MBA-HM, is the Chief Nursing Officer for the Mid-America Region of AdventHealth. She oversees nursing for AdventHealth Shawnee Mission and supports nursing leaders at AdventHealth Durand, AdventHealth Ottawa and AdventHealth South Overland Park.

As Chief Nursing Officer of AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, Raimonda oversees all nursing operations, including evidence-based nursing practice, education, patient safety, clinical quality and Magnet re-certifications.

Raimonda began her career at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission as a Clinical Associate and then worked as a Registered Nurse at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission’s Birth Center. She became Manager of the Mother and Baby Unit in 2012, Administrative Director of Women’s Services in 2018 and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer in 2020.

For her schooling, Raimonda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rockhurst University/Research College of Nursing and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.

Raimonda has a son, Miles, and loves nothing more than spending time with her family.
