The trustees oversee philanthropic initiatives benefiting AdventHealth Waterman and its services through charitable gifts. Last year, the Foundation raised and invested $4.2 million to support both the hospital and the community.
The new trustees include:
Robert “Rob” P. Adrid has a 36-year banking career and is the executive vice president of United Southern Bank. He served nine years on the Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care Board and is the organization’s past chair. Adrid holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida.
Keire Rice Hosley has served 28 years in the accounting industry. She is a certified public accountant and owner of Greenlee, Kurras, Rice and Brown, PA. She specializes in personal and small business tax compliance. Hosley holds a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida and both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida.
Sonja G. Sanders is an advocate for student success and inclusion in higher education. She serves as the student accessibility services coordinator at Lake-Sumter State College. Sanders holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mississippi Valley State University.
Dalton Yancey is a University of Florida graduate with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations. He served as a U.S. Army officer in Germany and Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star and three Army Commendation Medals, achieving the rank of captain. For 40 years, he nationally represented Florida Citrus Growers and Sugarcane Farmers. Active in his church, Yancey has been involved in teaching, philanthropy and community service.
"We are grateful to our trustees who are part of our journey in supporting team members, the hospital and the communities we serve. These new trustees will bring additional perspectives as well as a wealth of expertise to help govern our efforts to further our Christian healing ministry," said Mabel Valdivia, AdventHealth Waterman Foundation executive director.
Since 1985, the Foundation has provided funding in many areas to help heal and ensure the best in health care. By raising and administering charitable gifts, the Foundation's purpose is to build healthier communities and elevate patient care.
