Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel is celebrating American Heart Month with a Be Heart Smart wellness series cardiovascular wellness events throughout the month of February and March. All of the events are free and open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required. Click on the links below to reserve your space.

A heart-healthy diet can be both delicious and nutritious. Executive Chef, Jerry Dzialo and Registered Dietitian, Denise Doman will show you how to prepare healthy dishes that are sure to please. Watch a cooking demonstration, sample the menu items, and leave with tried and true recipes that you can make at home.

Cardiac Cath Lab Open House and Walk Through the MEGA Heart

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to tour a brand-new, state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab. As a part of its expansion, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel is adding a second cardiac cath lab and is inviting the community to take a sneak peek before it opens.

And, the MEGA Heart will be onsite and available for tours. The MEGA Heart is the worlds only portable walkthrough heart exhibit. Visitors can step inside the human heart, learn about cardiovascular functions, observe examples of various types of heart disease, and see displays of some of the latest medical treatments for heart problems.
