
Expanding Markets: From 2000 to 2019
The early 2000s was a time of significant expansion for AdventHealth as we grew our footprint well past the Central Florida market into the West Florida region and beyond.
At the start of the new millennium, we made a pivotal shift in our brand to unify the identity of our health care system. In 2019, what was once 30 brands under Adventist Health System — including Florida Hospital — became one unified name: AdventHealth. Florida Hospital is Gifted Three Hospitals
Following a long relationship with Florida Hospital and recognizing the need to be a part of a larger organization, Memorial Health System transfers three hospitals to Adventist Health System — Florida Hospital Flagler, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center and Ormond Beach.
