At AdventHealth, our human resources department supports the team members and volunteers who extend the mission of our organization. This department is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, pay and benefits and evaluation of all AdventHealth team members. Other key responsibilities include workforce planning, employee relations and employee engagement.
As our intern, you’ll spend up to four weeks learning from HR professionals. During this rotation, you’ll be engaged in hands-on projects and shadowing opportunities in areas like recruitment and onboarding, benefits, compensation, operations or employee engagement. Additionally, you’ll get to spend time with each human resources director to better understand their teams.
