AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida is proud to highlight Adelyn Lambo as our Volunteer of the Month for October! In addition to working as the Financial Coordinator for the Heart Transplant and VAD program at AdventHealth Transplant Institute, Adelyn has been a huge ambassador for Generosity Champions. Having spent over 22 years growing within the AdventHealth community, Adelyn could not have imagined the journey of maturing into a healthcare advocate would represent.
As an ambassador for the AdventHealth Transplant Institute for the Generosity Champions, Adelyn serves as an advocate to our team members and physicians who donate to our Patience Assistance Fund (PAD). This helps patients who are dealing with medical and financial hardship, receive the assistance they need. Adelyn’s greatest desire is to offer hope to individuals going through difficult times
When asked why she is so passionate about being an active participant in the mission of AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida’s mission, Adelyn says, “the work that we do at Transplant Institute is so rewarding in giving our patients a second chance at life that it’s hard not to want to be an advocate to seeing those efforts reach as many people as possible. Service should be the standard in treating our patients with grace, and so I try to ensure that everything I do is always rooted in lending a helping hand.”
Today, Adelyn is married to her amazing husband Mirick of 15 years, and are blessed with 3 beautiful children – Marius, Maliya and Mailyn.
