Nearly 5,000 mothers a year choose our AdventHealth Birth Center, formerly known as the Shawnee Mission Birth Center. Our name may have changed, but our team of doctors, nurses, midwives and staff are the familiar faces you’ve counted on before and seen out in the community.

Every day, we provide the compassionate, expert and exceptional care mothers, fathers and families come to expect from our facilities. That commitment is just one of the reasons the Birth Center is Johnson County’s leader in the care of women, babies and families.

Here, we keep the whole family in mind. We combine comforting amenities, leading pregnancy care, advanced technologies and personalized labor and delivery options.

No matter your approach to delivery, the board-certified obstetricians, maternal-fetal specialists, Level III NICU, trained nursing staff and certified midwives are here to support you on your entire journey.
