Childbirth Preparation Series In-Person

Join us for a series of 4 classes to help you learn your options for the experience of childbirth. Class will be held July 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2024.

Class will be held from 6:30PM to 9:00PM at Avista Adventist Hospital.

The classes will include an overview of labor, relaxation and breathing techniques, medication options, interventions, hospital procedures and the role of the labor support person. We recommend you complete all classes at least three weeks prior to your due date. This class also includes a tour of the New Life Center.

The 1 ticket registration is good for 2 people at attend.

Please wear comfortable clothes. Bring two pillows and a blanket for comfort and to use during comfort measures practice. Our teaching staff looks forward to helping you and your labor support person prepare for the birth of your little one.

To get to the Spicer Room, enter through the Emergency Department. Go past the information desk to the elevators. Take the elevators to the basement. Once off the elevator, take the first right. You will see Roots Cafe. Turn left just before the seating area for Roots. Spicer room is down the hall on the right.
