At AdventHealth Avista, our dedication to providing the best care for our patients doesn’t end when they walk out the door. We’re here to support them — and their caregivers — long after their hospital stay ends. To make things a little easier for you, we’ve designed amenities and caregiver resources with you in mind.
Because it’s not just about caring for our patients, it’s also about caring for the ones who love and support them.
Our hospital has decided not to participate in the Colorado End-of-Life Options Act, but we still provide compassionate end-of-life and palliative care to patients and families.
Resources for Caregivers
The experienced team members at our Louisville, Colorado, hospital have deep compassion for our patients and their families. That’s why we’ve gathered helpful resources to inform and support you.
Support Services for Caregivers
As a caregiver, you are a key player on your loved one’s team, providing an invaluable contribution to their care. Sometimes, serving as your loved one’s advocate may be stressful and time-consuming, so take care of yourself, too. Accept friends’ offers to help and let us know about any concerns you or your loved one may have.
- Visiting Hours

- Visitors under age 14 must be with an adult.
- The main lobby entrance door is locked at 7 pm each day. After 7 pm, you can enter the hospital through the Emergency Department.
- Visitors staying after 7 pm need to get a special visitor’s badge from the security desk in the Emergency Department.
- Pastoral Care

When you need more support, our pastoral team is available to lift your spirits with wise counsel, provide religious services, or put you in touch with a leader from your own religious community.
- Campus Services and Amenities

Parking
You want to focus on your loved one. Not logistics. That’s why we provide free parking 24 hours a day. You can park in the parking lot in front of the main entrance and adjacent lots around the hospital.
Deliveries
A simple way to demonstrate care is to send a person in the hospital a delivery. Mail, flowers, Mylar® balloons, letters and other packages are delivered to patients Monday through Friday. Our nurses will help patients mail letters out of the hospital.
Gift shop
Find a variety of gifts and convenience products for your loved ones at our gift shop, located on the first floor. For updated hours, call Call303-673-1187.
ATMs
You can find ATMs by the gift shop on the first floor.
Food and Refreshments
Hungry? Need a quick pick-me-up? You’ll find the following food services at our AdventHealth Avista hospital:
- Roots Café
- Enjoy a wide range of nutritious meals at our cafeteria, located on the lower level.
- Open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 2 pm and closed on weekends.
- Vending machines
- You can find a snack in our vending machines on the lower level next to the cafeteria and on the first floor in the atrium near the gift shop.
- You can also visit our 24-hour Micro Mart, which features fresh food, frozen items and drinks. It’s located in the patient waiting area on the first floor.

Whatever you’re facing, you’re not alone. The AdventHealth Spiritual Care Hotline is here when you need a listening ear. Call Call833-258-2414, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm Mountain time. Calls are free and confidential, and our caring team members will listen without judgment and offer prayer, support and additional resources if needed.
