Whole-Person Wellness Made Fun for Kids
At AdventHealth for Children, we know that when kids learn about healthy living, they’re better equipped to embrace whole-person wellness for life. That’s why we partner with Sanford Health to bring Mission FIT Possible to more kids in Central Florida.
Mission FIT Possible teaches children how to find the clues to healthy living — physically and emotionally. The FIT platform helps kids understand whole-health fitness through upbeat, engaging and entertaining fun. When you join the program, a team of “Edu-tainers” go to your school, after-school care, learning facility, church or summer camp and teach kids how to achieve a fit and healthy life.

Teaching Kids the Four Core Concepts of Health
Whole-person health encompasses the body, mind and spirit — a big concept that’s made simple in this program fit for kids. Through Mission FIT Possible, kids learn four core concepts of health to grow up happy and whole. We want every child to discover the importance of restorative fitness, learn to fuel a healthy lifestyle, see how physical fitness contributes to overall well-being and explore how emotional health influences a happy life.

All About the Mission FIT Possible Program
In Mission FIT Possible, “Edu-tainers” come to your site — school, after-school care, learning facility, church or summer camp — four to five times a semester. Missions are designed for second- or fourth-graders and are aligned with Florida’s PE standards. The program is typically done during PE classes and lasts 30 to 45 minutes. In each mission, kids become “FIT Special Agents” while completing the program. “Edu-tainers” provide all the equipment, so there’s no extra set-up required for teachers or staff.
The program includes parent-permission slips, written pre- and post-health screenings, individual name badges, take-home activities and incentives for kids and teachers.
Scheduling begins in early August and early December. You can schedule your programming one month before the beginning of each semester.
