Jessica Phillips has been awarded Gordon Hospitals prestigious Extra Mile Award. Phillips is an employee at Northwest Georgia Orthopedics and Sports Medicines Calhoun location.
This special award was created by members of the hospitals Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to deserving employees selected by the hospitals directors.
Phillips, who has been employed by Gordon Hospital for four years, said, I am very honored and grateful to win this award.
Jessica consistently goes above and beyond and strives to make changes to benefit our practice, said Tara Brown, Northwest Georgia Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice manager. She is proactive and is always looking for ways to improve our processes.
A Gordon Central High School class of 2006 graduate, Phillips graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science.
Phillips and her husband of 8 years, Chad, reside in Calhoun with their five-year-old son Brantley. She enjoys being reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
I love what I do and the people I work with. I have been blessed to work with an exceptional staff that I view as not only friends, but family, said Phillips.
