We're here to keep you safe. As we monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our communities, we have decided to make changes to our visitation policies to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and team members.
After much discussion with clinical leaders and physicians, AdventHealth will update its visitation policy. Effective Monday, March 23, our visitation policy will change to one visitor per patient, per day.
In all circumstances, visitors who are sick will not be permitted to enter the hospital, unless they are seeking personal medical care. We realize this will impact patients and their families, and we will constantly evaluate the need for this policy and will modify it when we believe it is safe for visitors to return.
Patients who have appointments scheduled at an AdventHealth Medical Group or AdventHealth Prompt Care location are being reminded if they have a fever, cough, or flu symptoms, or if they have been in close proximity of anyone with a confirmed or presumed positive case of (COVID-19) to call their Primary Care Provider before visiting the office.
Our Visitor Policy may have changed since this blog/article was posted. Please click here for an updated version of our visitor policies.
