AdventHealth Manchester and Volunteers of America to Host Annual Mommy & Baby Fair September 7.

August 29, 2023 — AdventHealth Manchester (AHM) and Volunteers of America looks forward to hosting its annual Mommy & Baby Fair 2023 at Eastern Kentucky University (Manchester Campus) on Thursday, September 7, from 10 am until 2 pm.

An Information Area will be set up for the event, including several information booths from community resources such as WIC, HANDS, Early Steps and Family Resource Centers, etc.

As in the previous year, attendees can expect to have the hospital’s staff conducting free health screenings. The hospital and clinic providers will also be on-site with the Primary Care Clinic and OB department teams, who will collectively provide information about upcoming free childbirth classes and other programs available.

Many representatives from AHM will be on hand for Q&A sessions, including the hospital’s Nutritionist and pediatricians, Khercie Smith, MD, and Ashtin Nix, MD who will be on-site to answer any questions you have.

Walgreens will offer Flu, Shingles, Whooping Cough, and Pneumonia vaccines at no charge.

We will also have free photography services for expectant mothers who wish to receive a photo shoot of their pregnancy.

The Mommy & Baby Fair isn’t just for new or expecting mothers. Women interested in becoming mothers, whether by birth or adoption, will receive the necessary information.
