Give the Gift of Service

We are always looking for individuals who share our passion for helping others feel whole to serve alongside us. As a volunteer at AdventHealth Manchester, you can make a difference in the lives of patients, families, friends and visitors in the communities we serve — in body, mind and spirit.

Volunteering Benefits the Whole You

Volunteering is good for you, too. Not only does it satisfy a need for purpose, it can also bring a change of pace, improved mood and lowered stress. Some of the many proven benefits of volunteering include:

  • Building new relationships
  • Developing better communication
  • Improving overall health
  • Increasing life expectancy
  • Learning new skill sets

How to Volunteer

Sometimes the best gift you can give is your time. As a hospital volunteer, you can devote your time and talents to many different areas, including visiting patients in the hospital, volunteering in a physician’s office, helping at the front desk or even supporting our human resources or marketing teams.

To volunteer, you must:

  • Be 14 or older
  • Complete a background check
  • Complete a drug screening
  • Complete our online application
  • Complete a TB skin test
  • Complete volunteer training
  • Have an up-to-date immunization record

At every step of your volunteering, you’ll support our teams in their mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.
