AdventHealth Manchester Celebrates Back-to-School Season with Health Screenings and School Supplies at Red Bird School High School

AdventHealth Manchester, a leading health care provider committed to whole-person care, proudly participated in the Summer Family Engagement Event at Red Bird High School today. The event, which took place from 10 am to 1 pm, was a hub of activity and support for the families of Clay, Bell, and Leslie counties.

AdventHealth team members, including Rosemary Joseph and Tiffany Davidson-Adams, both RNs in the PCU, conducted 15 biometric health screenings, providing vital health checks to the community. Theresa Hall, Peer Support Specialist from AdventHealth’s Primary Care Clinic Behavioral Health Department, was also present to distribute mental health awareness information, emphasizing the importance of mental well-being, alongside physical health.

In addition to health services, Christina Couch and Crystal Day from the AdventHealth Marketing & Communication department distributed back-to-school bags filled with pencils, notebooks, and folders, ensuring that children are well-prepared for the upcoming school year.

The event was a part of AdventHealth's ongoing commitment to community wellness and education. "We are thrilled to support the Red Bird School and the surrounding communities through this event," said Crystal Day, AdventHealth Manchester Director of Marketing. "Providing health screenings and educational materials aligns with our mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ."

This year, the event saw over 175 community members in attendance and had 26 community agencies participate.
