September 25, 2023 — AdventHealth Manchester is delighted to announce the introduction of Coronary CT Angiogram (CCTA) services to the community. This cutting-edge, non-invasive diagnostic test boasts the highest accuracy in detecting obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD), a condition characterized by major coronary artery narrowing exceeding 50%. CCTA demonstrates exceptional sensitivity and significantly reduces false positives, enabling the identification of patients at low future risk for major adverse cardiac events (MACE) as well as those requiring intervention. Moreover, CCTA possesses the capability to uncover other structural heart and aorta abnormalities.
