AdventHealth Primary Care Clinic Welcomes Tammy Saylor, APRN

Tammy Saylor, APRN, is a Clay County native that grew up in the Big Creek community. She chose healthcare because she loves helping people and dreamed of being a nurse since she was a little girl.

Saylor has been a nurse practitioner since 2012, graduating from Lincoln Memorial University. She chose family medicine, because it serves the entire population, from birth to geriatrics and grants her the ability to take care of the entire family.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two granddaughters and has a love for flowers. Hydrangeas are her favorite and she hopes to have a greenhouse someday.

When asked what you expect to accomplish at Manchester, Saylor replied, “I am here because I love my home and my community. I promised the Lord while in graduate school if he would help me graduate that I would serve the people in my hometown and treat them like my family. I included that in my daily prayers the entire time I was in school. God has been so good to me opening doors and blessing me in so many ways. My patients are not a number to me, they are my family and Clay County is my home. I’m excited for to give my patients the opportunity to be in such a wonderful facility.”
