Dr. Ashtin Nix Joins AdventHealth Primary Caer Clinic
— AdventHealth Primary Care Clinic welcomes pediatrician, Ashtin Nix, MD to its team!
Dr. Nix received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of South Carolina in Greensville, SC. A Jackson County native, Dr. Nix is excited to return home to provide pediatric care in our region.
Dr. Nix will begin seeing patients in August and will offer well-child exams, sports physicals, screenings, immunizations, preventive medicine, and care for acute illnesses. Additionally, Dr. Nix is a certified lactation consultant and will be an excellent resource for breastfeeding mothers.
Dr. Nix said, “My passion is newborns and lactation within the field of pediatrics, my hope is to form life-long relationships with the people in the area and provide excellent care for their children.”
